Many thanks to Neil Walton, who stood in Fleet, and Graham Cockarill, who stood in Odiham, Hook and the western parishes. Many thanks also to all who helped the Lib Dem cause in any way whatever in this year's election. We shall have another challenge on our hands next year, when district boundaries are due to alter and not just one third, but ALL the seats on Hart will be up for election. If you are interested in helping us with next year's campaign, please email us at info@northeasthampshirelibdems.org.uk.

Why vote for us?

The Liberal Democrats are now the only party that can deliver social justice. We are only choice for anyone who wants a fairer Britain.

Our Four Steps to a Fairer Britain:

  • Fair taxes.

  • A new, fair start for all children at school.

  • A rebalanced, fair and green economy.

  • And clean, open, fair politics.

We will put money back in the pockets of ordinary families. We will build a stable, green economy for each and every one of us. We will change politics so that every person counts.

Thanks to Liberal Democrats:

  • 34,000 people in Hart are getting a £200 income tax cut - benefiting 23 million people across the country.

  • 900 people in Hart have been lifted out of paying income tax altogether, with more to come.

  • Nationally, £625 million extra has gone to our schools, aimed at the most disadvantaged pupils - rising to £2.5 billion a year by 2015.

  • 18,000 pensioners in Hart have been given an extra £4.50 a week - and those retiring from today will be on average £15,000 better off over their retirement.
